    The Pleasure Trail - A Place To Shine. Whatever ride you choose, there are guidelines that will help to ensure a pleasant outing. The health and condition of your horses should be of primary concern. Matching the condition of you and your horse to the demands of the particular ride is most important.

    Let's Show Our Horses. Showing is a valuable tool on several levels. For the owner, it's an opportunity top put their horse in a challenging situation. What better way to bond with your horse than by surviving the stress and fun of a show? for the trainer, it's better than the yellow pages. For the breeder, participation in the show circuit is an opportunity to show the products of their breeding program. For the audience, a gaited horse show gives attendees a place to go to see the horses in action and meet the breeders, owners and trainers.  

    The North American Trail ride Conference (NATRC) is perhaps the most important trail ride organization in the United States. The horse is judged on condition, soundness and trail ability on natural trail obstacles. The rider is judged on presentation.
